Matcha at Ora Casa de las Flores was just great. I liked the experience most of all. I hung out with a group of ladies for about 3 hours before we headed out!

I used to stop by often for the matcha and the chocolate cake, but I haven’t been able to find the chocolate cake for a long time. When I went in today, there was a longer cake, and I was told it was “more chocolatey.” It was STALE, tasted like it had no sugar or cocoa, and all I could taste was margarine. It was terrible.

An exquisite little flower shop with a cafe! I came across it two years ago as it is near a place I have to visit often. I purchased a beautiful small plant with a pot from them and the plant is still alive and growing beautifully. They informed me they help with repotting plants , which I will have to do soon and looking forward to paying them a visit again. I’ve had their lattes several times and they all taste delicious . My favorite is the blueberry latte with oat milk . Service seems good and the staff always answer my questions. Only thing I wish is that they had dairy/ soy free options for their baked items, I wish I can try them as they look super delicious.

I hosted an afternoon tea party for my birthday at Ora La Casa de las Flores, and it truly came through in every way. Nestled in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Queens, this beautiful hidden gem, part florist and part café, feels like a secret escape. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported by the stunning décor and cozy, elegant ambiance. It set the perfect tone for a special celebration. The tea service itself was amazing. The customer service was impeccable, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The tea towers were beautifully presented, the food was absolutely delectable, and we even got to enjoy two rounds of tea. My guests couldn’t stop raving about the experience, and the vibes were exactly what I envisioned for my birthday. I also ordered a mini cake, and it was incredible. There were these little crunchy elements inside that took it to the next level. I definitely recommend checking this place out, whether for a celebration or just a relaxing afternoon. I’m already looking forward to going back!

One of the BEST afternoon teas I’ve ever had! Ora La Casa De Las Flores has an adorable atmosphere with beautiful flowers throughout their shop and the cutest store manager, a pug named Coco. I made reservations in advance for afternoon tea (offered Saturdays and Sundays only). Our server provided fresh tea leaves to smell to help us choose our tea of choice - we went with the earl grey tea to start and opted for the peaches and cream black tea to finish. The three tiers of food were exquisite. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and arranged perfectly. The customer service was impeccable, our tea pots were never empty and Coco frequently sniffed under the table to ensure no crumbs were left behind. While everything was scrumptious, the Calamansi Poppy Cake, the Ube Cheesecake and the rosemary and honey cornbread paired with mango seasonal jam really stood out! The menu changes seasonally and I will definitely be back in October to try out their new flavors! This perfect hidden gem has my 100% recommendation for tea time in New York! 💕
